The UGA Department of Chemistry is affiliated with several core facilities that provide research support and services in the areas of nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (NMR), proteomics and mass spectrometry (PAMS), electron microscopy, and X-ray diffraction. NMR facilityDr. Earle Adams, managerThe Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) facility specializes in the use of magnetic resonance spectroscopy in elucidating and understanding small molecule structure. The facility houses two NMRs and one EPR and is located in the new STEM-I building on the east side of campus.
