Oluwaseun O. Ajayi is a Ph.D. researcher in the Chemistry Department. Her research focuses on enzyme catalysis and molecular characterization, particularly of pyridoxal 5′-phosphate (PLP)-dependent enzymes. She employs a broad range of analytical and structural techniques to investigate molecular structure and function. Her prior work in glycomics and glycoproteomics, especially on N-linked glycosylation, has strengthened her ability to address complex biochemical systems with precision, supporting exploration of enzyme functionality and broader molecular applications. Committed to sustainability, Oluwaseun develops analytical workflows that reduce material use and environmental impact while maintaining scientific rigor. Collaboration, mentorship, and interdisciplinary engagement are central to her work, and she welcomes opportunities to connect with researchers across fields to advance both fundamental knowledge and practical solutions.
