Research Interests:

Zach uses state of the art machine learning methods to build regression models and clustering models for ambient aerosol optical properties. He is an expert at photoacoustic spectroscopy and cavity ring-down spectroscopy. Most of his work involves maintaining the high-sensitivity instrumentation of the Smith lab and using data from those instruments for machine learning.

Interests:

Machine learning related to aerosol optical properties, aerosol physical properties, and aerosol chemistry.
